Celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science 2021
Implemented by UNESCO, this day is celebrated every year on 11 February to promote women and girls in science, and promote full and equal access to, and participation in, science for women and girls.

Introducing Doctor Daan Ophelders
Daan coordinates the large animal work carried out by the Department of Pediatrics at Maastricht University, including unique longitudinal studies in which consequences of perinatal inflammatory stress are assessed prenatally until adulthood
