PREMSTEM is a €9M research project funded by the European Union’s prestigious Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme. We are a group of researchers from across the globe developing a new regenerative stem cell therapy to repair the brain damage caused by premature birth, also known as encephalopathy of prematurity (EOP).
About PREMSTEM provides an in-depth understanding of the project and may be of most interest to researchers in the field, clinicians, and health care professionals.
Our research explained provides a general overview of the PREMSTEM project – great for anyone who wants to learn more about the research without the need for specific expertise in the area.
The PREMSTEM team is a collective of world leading clinicians, researchers, stakeholder advocacy groups and an industrial partner with well-established experience in neonatology and drug development.
Our fifteen research partners represent eight countries: Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
Stay up to date with the latest news and results from the PREMSTEM project, find out about upcoming events and read interviews with the team.
